FUND MANAGEMENT
As in Manager of the Fund, activities performed by CFIG, which
is the manager of the fund and the fund investment group of Credit Suisse,
will include sourcing premier funds, performing comprehensive due
diligence, investment execution, and monitoring and reporting. With
over $8.6 billion in private equity fund of funds commitments, CFIG
is one of the largest and most experienced fund of funds managers.
CFIG investment professionals have extensive backgrounds in managing
private equity portfolios at leading public and corporate pension
plans. These individuals represent over eighty years of private
equity fund investing at some of the leading public and corporate
pension plans and some of the world's largest financial institutions.
The CFIG investment professionals have invested in more than 50
life science funds over the course of their careers, and have a
strong network of contacts in the life sciences community.
MICHAEL W. ARPEY
Managing Director, Head of Customized Fund Investment
Group (CFIG)
Mr.
Arpey is the head of the Customized Fund Investment Group.
Previously, Mr. Arpey was responsible for oversight of Prudential
Insurance Company of America's Private Equity Group. Mr. Arpey
also had primary responsibility for managing Prudential's
fund investment group. Mr. Arpey joined Prudential in 1999
as a Private Equity Specialist. Previously, Mr. Arpey was
Director of Alternative Investments for the New York State
Common Retirement Fund, where he managed a $7 billion private
equity portfolio. Prior to that, Mr. Arpey was General Counsel
to the State Treasurer of Pennsylvania. He was appointed by
the State Treasurer as her designee to both the Pennsylvania
Public School Employee Retirement System and the State Employees
Retirement System. Mr. Arpey received a Bachelor of Science
degree with cum laude distinction from St. Lawrence University
in 1985 and a Juris Doctor degree from the Dickinson School
of Law in 1988.

KELLY M. WILLIAMS
Managing Director, Customized Fund Investment Group
Ms.
Williams is a Managing Director in the Customized Fund Investment
Group. Previously, Ms. Williams was an Executive Director
with the Prudential Insurance Company of America's Private
Equity Group. At Prudential, Ms. Williams was responsible
for investing in private equity funds on behalf of Prudential
and its clients. She also had oversight responsibility of
Prudential's portfolio of over 70 venture capital funds. From
1996 to mid-1999, Ms. Williams was primarily responsible for
product and business development, as well as legal support,
for Prudential's Private Equity Group, during which period
she was responsible for the development of eight private equity
funds globally. Ms. Williams joined Prudential in 1993 as
counsel for a Prudential unit that specialized in providing
private debt and equity for global infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining Prudential, Ms. Williams was an associate
with the New York law firm, Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy,
where she specialized in global project finance. Ms. Williams
graduated magna cum laude from Union College in 1986 with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Mathematics
and received her Juris Doctor degree from New York University
School of Law in 1989.

NADIM M. BARAKAT
Managing Director, Customized Fund Investment Group
Mr.
Barakat is a Director in the Customized Fund Investment Group,
responsible for sourcing and conducting due diligence on private
equity investments. Mr. Barakat joined DLJ in January 1999
where he was a Vice President. Prior to that, Mr. Barakat
was in the mergers and acquisitions group of Chase Securities
from 1994 to 1997 and with a venture capital group in 1998.
Mr. Barakat received a Bachelors of Science degree in Systems
Engineering from University of Virginia in 1994.

DAVID M. RUSSELL
Managing Director, Customized Fund Investment Group
Mr.
Russell is a Director in the Customized Fund Investment Group,
primarily responsible for Product Management for the Fund
Investment Group. Previously, Mr. Russell was Managing Attorney
for the New York State Common Retirement Fund, where his responsibilities
included negotiating private equity partnership investments
by the $8 billion Division of Private Equity, and structuring
customized venture, buyout and co-investment funds. Prior
to that, Dave was a Corporate Securities Associate with the
New York law firm, Seward & Kissel, where he specialized in
the formation of mutual funds and hedge funds.

MARK T. REGAL, CFA
Director, Customized Fund Investment Group
Mr.
Regal is a Vice President in the Customized Fund Investment
Group. Previously, Mr. Regal was a Senior Associate in the
Prudential Insurance Company of America's Private Equity Group
and had responsibility for reviewing Prudential's private
equity fund investments. Prior to joining Prudential, Mr.
Regal was employed by BankAmerica Capital Corporation, where
he was charged with the day-to-day responsibilities of its
venture capital fund portfolio. Prior to that, Mr. Regal was
an Analyst for Alternative Investments at the Minnesota State
Board of Investment. Prior to that, Mr. Regal was employed
at the Minneapolis law firm of Popham Haik Schnobrich & Kaufman.
Mr. Regal received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Economics
in 1991 and an M.B.A. in 1995, both from the University of
Minnesota. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of
the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR)
and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

BERNARD E. YANCOVICH
Director, Customized Fund Investment Group
Mr.
Yancovich is a Vice President in the Customized Fund Investment
Group. He is primarily responsible for conducting due diligence
on private equity investments. Previously, Mr. Yancovich was
an Investment Banking Associate at DLJ and Credit Suisse. Prior to
joining DLJ, Mr. Yancovich performed transaction advisory
services for KPMG in France.

CARA C. PRIESTLEY
Associate, Customized Fund Investment Group
Ms. Priestley joined the Customized Fund Investment Group in August 2002, after completing the Investment Banking Analyst training program. Previously, she was a Summer Analyst with Salomon Smith Barney's Real Estate Investment Banking Group. She received a BA degree from Seattle University.
